Horse gets the Daily Double

15/04/2012

April 15th saw the annual Bayer Crop Science 100 Target event that attracted 40 shooters.  The event saw the shooting of the bouncing haggis and a variety of other targets that were challenging yet very shootable.  High Gun for the day was Chris Bourke who shot a 77. Horse then turned around and was drawn for the Tantitha Ten to shoot it clean for a $300 reward. To top the day off for Chris his name was drawn as the raffle winner which he declined and was redrawn for Colin Dorman to win with Denis Coaker 2nd and Ross Scott 3rd.   AA was won by Chris Everett with a 72. A grade Murray Rees 74, B grade Stephen Cooper 65,  C grade Ben Hooper 54, Sub Juniors Harry Knaggs 57, Vets Laurie Redfern 70 and Super Vets Denis Coaker 64.  A big thank you must go to Hugo and his family for all their help on the day. It was great to see more new shooters and hope they enjoyed themselves and look forward to the next shoot on the 28th for the Midwest Industries Day/Night shoot starting at 2PM.
